It is with sadness that the passing of Wanda Ann Townsend (Mustang, Oklahoma) is shared. Wanda Ann, born on November 26, 1943, passed away on October 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Jack Risner and Wanda Risner; and her sister Judith Risner. She is survived by: her husband Russell Edgar Townsend; her children, Scott Townsend (Christina) and Susan Townsend Ritter (Ryan); her grandchildren, Faith Auwen (Alec), Tyson Townsend, Jonathan Raybern Ritter and Anna June Ritter Garcia (Reece); her great grandchild Beau Auwen; and her siblings, Mike Risner and Nancy Risner. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (928 N Mustang Rd, Mustang, OK 73064). A burial was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at the Friendship Cemetery.
