He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Ruiz and Virginia Ruiz (Maxwell); and his siblings, Sharlene, Sharon and Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Pam Ruiz of Nardin; his daughter Joni Kendrick (Adam) of Oklahoma City; and his grandchildren, Avery and Londyn of Oklahoma City. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Nardin Community Church (108 W Main St, Nardin, OK 74646).
A memorial has been established in his memory with the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation c/o Robers and Son Funeral Home.
