She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Crawford and Odele Robinett Crawford; her husband Richard Nowlin; and her brother Larry Crawford. She is survived by: her children, Allen Nowlin (Lovinia) of Newalla, Clinton Nowlin (Sally) of Elkton, Kentucky and Carolyn Renaii Ortiz (David); and her nephew Leslie Crawford (Amanda) of West Plains, Michigan. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
