With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Jackson Holder of Newalla, Oklahoma, born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 17, 2024 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gerald Jackson Holder to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Lee Holder and Eunice Jones (Tevis); his sons, Rodney and Ricky Holder; his brother Harold Holder; his grandmother Dollie May Tevis; his mother-in-law Pauline Coster; and his brothers-in-law, Reginald Dowdy and Charles Dowdy.

He is survived by : his wife Pauletta Holder; his children, Jeff Smock of Newalla and Renee Vanderpool (Rick); his sisters, Paula and Linda; his in-laws, Dana, Pat Wagner, John, Flo Oswald and Marie Dowdy; and his granddaughters, Connie, Christina and Mandy. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Northside Church of God (222 E Hayes St, Norman, OK 73069).
