He is survived by: his father Harold Stephens; his wife Melrita Stephens; his children, Derek and Danielle Stephens; his sons-in-law, Willie Stephens and Riley Hurst; his grandson Billie Stephens; his siblings, Larry Stephens and Jo Ellen Patterson; and his mother-in-law Melvia Tidwell.
