It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Guy Cannon of Newcastle, Oklahoma, born in Georgetown, Louisiana, who passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton "Red" Cannon and Beverly Marie Cannon (Flynn); his brother Jimmy Cannon; and his brother-in-law Kenny "Bear" Housh. He is survived by: his wife Diana Cannon; his children, Michelle Cresswell of Broken Arrow, OK, Brad Cannon (Amber) of Newcastle and Ryan Cannon of Newcastle; his mother-in-law Dolorus Housh of Newcastle; his siblings, Carolyn Oliver (Terry Georgetown) and Robert Cannon (Sherry) of Baton Rouge, LA; and his brothers-in-law, Stan Housh (Dian) of Yukon, OK and David Housh of Newcastle.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial (3132 Tri City Ave, Newcastle, OK 73065). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (1650 N Main St, Newcastle, OK 73065).
