With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Claude Wilbur Keonke of Newkirk, Oklahoma, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Claude left this world on January 24, 2026 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine Koenke; his children, Christie Rutter and Doug Koenke; his parents, Clarence Koenke and Evelynn Leasman Koenke Hawkins; his siblings, Kathleen Rozzell, Colleen Golden, Kenneth Koenke, Carol Koenke and Vitora "Tootie" Hodges; and his grandson Chance Koenke.
He is survived by: his children, Shae Koenke (Jennifer Koenke), Jeff Koenke (Cathy Koenke), Terri Syler (Scott Syler) and Cheri GilmoreClaude. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren, along with many other family members.
The family respectfully requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Red Cross or American Legion Post 18 of Arkansas City, in memory of Claude W. Koenke.
