With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Albert Sorrell of Newkirk, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 8, 2026 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Maudie Sorrell; and his siblings, Andy, James, Dewey Sorrell and Bertha Tull.
He is survived by: his father Edward Sorrell; his wife Juanita; his children, LaDonna Eaglin (Michael) and Tommy Shelton (Amanda); his grandchildren, Tyler, Ali, Landon, Kayla, Brennen, Kyle, Devon and Kaydence; and his brother Jesse Sorrell. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Cowley County Humane Society in Thomas's name.
