Glenda leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Glenda’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Glenda will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Lee Newton and Tola Mae Butler Newton; her children, Tony Richardson and Carrie Bishop; and her son-in-law Darryle Bishop.
She is survived by: her husband Garry Jones; her great grandchildren, Daniel Lee, Olivia Ann and McKenzie Sue; her sister Jenny Newton; her grandmother Bert; and her aunt Jackie. She is also survived by many friends, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Beginnings Fellowship (236 Waterfront Dr, Ninnekah, OK 73067).
