He was loved and cherished by many people including: wife: Shirley Gottman Johnson; parents: Edgar and Ethel Fifer Johnson; sisters: Willie Mae Kezer (Dearrel Kezer), Evelyn Godfrey (James (Bob) Godfrey), Benita Myrick (Elmer Myrick), and Carolyn Brewer (William (Bill) Brewer); brother-in-law: John Ray Gottman (Evelyn Gottman Black); nephew: Joey Don Godfrey; nieces: Annette Kezer Falin and Judy Black; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Liberty Baptist Church (711 E Federal St, Shawnee, OK 74804). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 3:15 PM to 4:00 PM at the Resthaven Memorial Park (16006 S Rock Creek Rd, Shawnee, OK 74801).
