She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Schaeffer and Urah "Betty" Schaeffer (Moore); and her sister Karen. She is survived by: her daughter Amy Coffman (Will) of Sutherland, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Megan Coffman (Caeden Versch-Marroquin) of Lincoln, Nebraska, Josie, Hazel and Miles Coffman of Sutherland; and her brothers, Milford of Norman, Mark Schaeffer (Sheryl) of North Platte and Terry Schaeffer (Cheryl) of Springfield. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In remembrance of Carol's life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to KJLT radio in North Platte.
