He was predeceased by: his parents, William Howard Beattie and Hertha Marie Beattie (Myles); and his wife Rose Marie Beattie (Queen). He is survived by: his children, William Wallace "Wally" Beattie Jr. (Jennifer) of Norman, Cogi Lynn Beattie of Norman and Elizabeth Jo Dewey (Farris) of Trinidad; his sisters, Gertrude Harrell of St. Louis, MO and Virginia Beattie of Tulsa; and his grandchildren, Josh Knotts, Tosha Knotts, Preston Beattie, Christina Robinson, Skylar Beattie and Benjamin Beattie. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Shilo Schools located at Woodland Hills Baptist Church.
