She was predeceased by: her son Jesse Fears; her husband Rufus Fears; her siblings, Elaine Ganka and George Bauer; and her parents, Alma Krepps and Charles Bauer.
She is survived by: her daughter Betsy Fears; her brother-in-law Thomas Ganka (Joanne) of Atlanta, GA; and her sibling's children, Charlie (Tamara), Geordan (Sarah) and T. J. (Victoria).
