We are sad to announce that on April 23, 2024, at the age of 74, Charlene Laverne Morris of Norman, Oklahoma, born in Mena, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Charlene Laverne departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Charlene Laverne. Though Charlene Laverne may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Marion Eugene and Lois Marie Cunningham; and her siblings, Barry Cunningham and Carolyn Richmond. She is survived by : her husband David John Morris; her sisters, Linda Weinheimer (Bob) of Maricopa, AZ and Jane Owens of Mena, AR; and her nieces, Renee Richmond Gann of Mena, AR, Valerie Oglesby of Waxahachie, TX and Faith Morris of Houston, TX. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
