It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlie Lunsford (Norman, Oklahoma), born in Asheville, North Carolina, who passed away on August 3, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles S. Lunsford Sr. and Kathleen Ropko (Palmer); and his son David. He is survived by: his children, Kathie (Jerry Johnson) of Norman, OK and Tom Lunsford of Norman; his brother Tony Lunsford of Cape Carteret, NC; his brother-in-law Pat Brophy of Tecumseh, OK; his grandchildren, Chris Johnson, Brian Johnson, Grant Johnson (Brianna) and Danny Lunsford; his great grandchild Khai Lunsford; and his friend Steve (Sandy Starwalt). He is also survived by nieces; nephews.
