With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Conrad Smit of Norman, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 16, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Smit and Swanie Smit (Mos) of Platte, SD; and his siblings, Wilber of Platte, SD, Roy of Hot Springs, SD, Frank (Jerry) and Margaret (Glen Olson).
He is survived by: his wife Gisela Smit; his daughters, Cynthia Lynn Hargrove (Smit) and Deborah Kay Wiggins (Smit); his grandson Jakob Conrad Wiggins; his siblings-in-law, Norma Schwarz of Midwest City, OK, Debi Schwarz of Chula Vista, CA, Inge (Darrel "Bud" Glissendorf), Juergen Schwarz and Peter Schwarz; and his nephew Rodney Glissendorf. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
