He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Cole and Halcyon Cole. He is survived by: his wife Joan Elaine Conn; his sons, Steve (Michele) of Denton, TX and Michael (Courtney) of Norman, OK; his grandchildren, Kailey Posey (Ryan), Lindsay Towes (Matthew), Tyler Cole (Delaney), Ashley Haushill (Matt), Jacob Cole (Courtney), Chase Cole, Grace Elliott Cole and Georgia Cole; and his siblings, Denise Wasenhove of Chicago, Virginia Morgan of Florida and John Cole (Barbara) of Cordova. He is also survived by his ten great-grandchildren.

He was welcomed into the arms of Jesus after an eight year battle with Alzheimer's.
