He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas George and Pauline George (Tharp); his wife Shirley Franklin; and his sister Donna Lindsey. He is survived by : his children, Britt George (Joy) of Lindsay, Oklahoma, Aimee Newman (Robert) of Oklahoma City and Amber Zenor (Rick) of Yukon, Oklahoma; his siblings, Ronnie George (Becky) of Rawlins, Wyoming, Paula Bailey (Mike) of Lindsay and Rhonda Hallam (Kim) of Arkansas; his grandchildren, Skylor Needham (Weston), Madison Zenor, Cailee Zenor, Nikki Newman, Joshua Newman, Zac Williams (Amanda) and Cody Williams (Deeandra); and his great grandchildren, Lorelei Williams, Peyton Williams, Braylee Needham, Zechariah Williams, Brody Needham, Barrett Needham and Bennett Williams.

A funeral service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Assembly of God Church (1101 W Cherokee St, Lindsay, OK 73052).

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Winans Funeral Home in memory of Donald Ray George.
