She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Joyal and Ellie Joyal; her sister Lillian Drake; and her nephew Brian Drake. She is survived by: her husband Ken of Norman; her children, Lisa Johnson (Frank Jasa) of Los Angeles, David Johnson of El Paso and Mark Johnson (Lori Lovejoy) of Leesburg, Virginia; her grandsons, Joshua and Nolan Lovejoy of Leesburg, Virginia; her niece Susan Drake of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Fell-Johnson of Easthampton and Erica Johnson of Winter Springs, Florida..
