She was predeceased by: her mother Eunice Witt; her son Jimmy Leon Wright; her father Richard Witt Sr.; and her siblings, Ella Mae Roberts and Richard Witt Jr. (Dorothy).
She is survived by: her significant other Jimmy Wright; and her children, Patricia Coats, Brenda Smith, Jeff Wright, Violet Wright and Richard Wright. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
