Fern Louise Pittser Humphries Obituary
We announce the death of Fern Louise Pittser Humphries (Norman, Oklahoma), who passed away on August 28, 2026, at the age of 104. Fern will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Montie Fay Pittser (Kanady) and Newell Albert Pittser; her siblings, Opal Pittser, Lovetta Pittser, Newell Pittser and Sue Latham; her husband JD; her sister Ruth Criswell; her son Jerry Dean; and her granddaughter Kristy Nelson.
She is survived by: her sister Wanda Sanders of Oklahoma City; her sons, Bobby Gene (Theresa Humphries) and Newell Humphries; and her granddaughters, Kandi Wilson, Shari Ardies, Melisa Ott and Kim Andrews. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren, as well as four nieces and two nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Primrose Funeral Service (3901 N Flood Ave, Norman, OK 73069). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
