He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Gilbert Adams and Chiquita Fern Minter Adams; and his siblings, Loretta Mae Ingram, Terry Jack Adams and Billy Michael Adams.

He is survived by: his wife Lanette Bolding; his children, Christopher Lee Adams, Melissa Kaye Meyer, Abby Ladawn Dickson and Audrey Lane Adams; his grandchildren, Christopher Don Adams Cash, Samantha Nicole Adams, Mason Michael Adams, Isabelle Amara Meyer and Lily Brianna Meyer; and his sister Karen Darlene Lindsay. He is also survived by loving his wife, children and grandchildren.
