He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Reed Scott and G. Joseph Scott; his significant other S. Colleen Whittle Scott; his daughter-in-law Tera Cline Scott; and his granddaughter Sarah Katherine Crumpley.
He is survived by: his children, David Gene Scott (Jutta) of Orangeburg, Michael Jay Scott of Norman, Ruanne Elizabeth Scott Crumpley (Rob) of Broomfield and Cynthia Colleen Scott Tuttle (Joe) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and his sister Mary Beth Scott Dragoo of Norman, Oklahoma.. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
