He was predeceased by: his wife Cassie Browning; his grandparents, Ira and Marie Barfield of Okolona, Arkansas; his aunt Marilynn Barfield Bland; and his grandfather Doyle Barrick of Danville, Arkansas..

He is survived by: his parents, Neil Barfield and Sheila Barfield (Barrick) of Norman, Oklahoma; his grandmother Melba Barrick of Danville, Arkansas; his aunts, Teresa Majors (Harold) of Little Rock, Hilda Porter (Larry) of Alma and Ginger Templeman (Troy) of Danville, Arkansas; his uncle Randy Barrick (Nancy) of Danville, Arkansas; and his pet Daisy. He is also survived by eleven cousins; a wealth of friends.
