With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jana Jo Hughes in Norman, Oklahoma, born in Walters, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 28, 2026 at the age of 73. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Jana may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She was predeceased by: her husband Sam Hughes; her parents, Barbara Nell Reed and John William Reed; and her brother Scotty Reed. She is survived by: her daughter Tina Hughes Nunn (Robby Nunn) of Norman, Oklahoma.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
