He is survived by: his wife Linda Kay Mears; his son Kirk (Lisa); his grandchildren, Kevin and Michaela (Jeremy); his son Derek (Pamela); his grandchildren, Caitlyn, Samuel, Adriel, Elijah, Lizzy and Ellyn; and his nephews, Rick and Vince Freeman.
