She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Raymond Lewis and Cybil Ernestine Lewis (Wood); her husband Paul Bowen Workman; her siblings, Robert (Jess), Bill (Louise "Jigs") and Jerry (Jean); and her granddaughter Hannah Workman.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Zamudio (Michael) of Norman, Oklahoma, Lisa Ray (Kevin Ray) of Bryson, Texas and Robert Workman of Norman, Oklahoma.; her grandchildren, Aubrey Ray, Jasmine Miller, Christopher Self, Patrick Powers, Melissa Exum, Jordan Romo (Workman), K. O. Ray and Evie Workman; and her great grandchildren, Jack Stephens, Harley Ray, Brylen Exum, Emma Rackham, Carter Exum, Reese Exum, Scarlett Rackham, Bowen Exum, Remy Miller, Penelope Brooks, Valerie Brooks and Nick Miller.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Jo Ann's memory to the Southwest Oklahoma Animal Network, honoring her lifelong love for animals.
