He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. John B. Miles and Vera Belle Miles (Watson); his son John B. Miles III; his brothers, James Clayton Miles and Robert Watson Miles; and his yorkies, Lil Bits, Peke, Mandy, Sadie, Angel, Kayla, Abby, Tessa and Stormy.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his daughter Michelle Denise Miles (Thomas Andrew DeBlois); and his grandsons, Cody Mark Miles, David John Paul DeBlois and Michael Thomas DeBlois.
