She was predeceased by: her parents, Mariano Bernardo and Esperanza Bernardo; her husband Dr. Newton Averion (Tony); her grandson Angelo Averion; and her siblings, Roberto Bernardo and Purification Bernardo.
She is survived by: her children, Alea Hashimoto (Rich) of Aurora, Ariel Averion (Karen) of Fort Worth and Auresa Averion of McKinney, Texas; her grandchildren, Alec Hashimoto of Aurora, Andre'Averion of Richardson and Alysha Averion of Fort Worth, Texas; and her siblings, Milagros Bernardo and Armando Bernardo of Toronto. She is also survived by numerous family members and friends.
