He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Dewayne Hayes and Hazel Viola Hayes (White); and his brother Raymond Hayes. He is survived by: his wife Crystal Hayes; his children, Derrick Hayes (Rebecca), Maranda Hayes, Kale Hayes (Brenda Stewart), Kaitlyn Desantiago (Diana) and Brandon Boggs (Jazmine); his grandchildren, Braydon, Jordan, Natalee, Skylee, Miles, Cairo, Apollo and Kinsley; his siblings, Robert Hayes, Jimmy Hayes and Tammy Stillson; and his nephew Eric Hayes (Amy Ellis).
