She was predeceased by: her son Tom Loftis. She is survived by: her husband David Lee Carlson; her children, Joe Loftis, Lea Ann Delaney, Lori Davis and Lynn Loftis; her grandchildren, Becky Elliott, Beth Clark, Joe Brent Dennis, Sammy Loftis, Amber Loftis, Max Loftis, Clint Davis, Morgan Davis, Jake Loftis and Jesse Loftis; and her brother Jack Dennis (Virginia). She is also survived by Nine great-grandchildren.
After her retirement she spent many hours crocheting throws and small blankets which were donated to homeless shelters, children's hospitals, and retirement centers.
