She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Fleming and Susie Fleming (Edmonds); her former husband Ray Garvin; her children, Leonard Garvin and Deborah Johnson; her stepdaughter Evah Rogers; her granddaughter Lori Rogers; and her siblings, Effie Stevens, Annie Rainwater, Margie Steelman, Jane Marley and Edmond Fleming.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Garvin (LaVonda) and Janna Smith (Robert); and her stepchildren, Charlotte Smith, Sandra Murray (Dale) and Michael Garvin (Beverly). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren; an abundance of great grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren; and an extensive number of extended family.
