It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ron Cox of Norman, Oklahoma, born in McAlester, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 16, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Johnson Cox and Mary Frances Cox; and his son Jeffery Don Cox. He is survived by: his pet Sofie; his wife Teri Jones Cox; his brothers, Bob Cox of Seguin, TX, Don Cox (Rita) of Alta Loma, CA and Jerry Emory (Nancy) of Hot Springs, AR; and his sons, Gregory Ron Cox (Sherri) of Fredericksburg, VA and Justin Howe (Meaghan). He is also survived by five grandchildren; three nephews; and, three great-nephews and on great-niece.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to First Moore Baptist Church.
