He is survived by: his wife Estelle Lee Evans (Wood); his son Brett Howell (Katherine); his grandchildren, Madelyn, Tucker and Weston; his children, Chad Howell (JaMia) and Shannon Leonard (Ken); his grandchildren, Amelia and Jacob; his children, Paula Evans and Tracy Evans (Patricia Brockmeier); his grandchild Alexandria Herndon (Thomas); his great grandchildren, Charlotte and Parker; his granddaughter Kathleen Scott (Trey); his great grandchildren, Robert, Sophia and Justin (Anna); and his nieces and nephews, Rita, Jimmy, Steve, Sherry and Mitzi.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial donations to the Red Cross to assist Oklahoma Tornado victims affected by the most recent tornadoes in Enid and Ponca City.
