He was predeceased by: his mother Anna Marian Tiehen; his wife Rene "Penny" Tiehen; and his sister Geraldine Ann "Jerriann" Smith. He is survived by: his father Robert "Bob" Leo; his children, Christine Rochman (Cary) and Brian Tiehen (Leigh); and his brother Richard Tiehen (Linda). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
