He was predeceased by: his parents, George Applegarth and Elsie Applegarth (Farmer); his brothers, Wayne Applegarth and Fred; and his sister-in-law Helen Applegarth.
He is survived by: his wife Glennie Applegarth; his children, Mae Cavins (Howard), Faye Wallace (Roy) and Dwain Applegarth; his grandchildren, Kaylie Bailey (Trace), Jennifer Smallwood (Ryan), Tony Wallace and Joe Cavins; his great grandchildren, Ellie, Georgia Bailey, Chloe and Corwin Smallwood; and his siblings, Leamon Applegarth (Linda), Edward Applegarth and Faye Bell (Troy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers, Oklahoma Society of Professional Engineers and the Oklahoma Engineering Foundation.
