With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Marshall of Norman, Oklahoma, born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 8, 2022 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband John Marshall; her brother John Wayne Jones; her niece Amy Hallman; her parents, James S. Jones, Jr. and Diane Marie Rollande Brodeur; and her stepfather Jeryl Ensey.

She is survived by: her daughter Carisa McCarty (Mike); her granddaughter Shianne of Norman; her son John (Jenna); her grandchildren, Max and Nora of Highlands Ranch, CO; her sons, Jeryl of Norman and Jason of Fayetteville, AR.; her sister Mary Ann Hallman (David) of Ninety Six, SC; her stepmother Maria Ensey; her aunt Filiberta Chittum of Oklahoma City; and her former husband Tom Newman. She is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
