He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle Embry and Inez Embry (Mobley); and his siblings, Kenneth Embry, Henry Embry, Raymond Mosley, Joyce Embry and Loretta Robertson.

He is survived by: his sister Patricia Nichols. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and their families; his cousins; and a host of friends.
