He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Stuart and Mary Stuart (Lee); his wife Sharon Stuart; his daughter Penny Stuart; and his siblings, David, James, Wesley Stuart and Joan Tally.
He is survived by: his children, Joy Nix of Newalla, Shane Stuart (Sherri) of Noble and Scott Stuart (Jill) of Norman; his grandchildren, Evan Kent, Seth Stuart, Sarah Wheeler, Shaye Stuart and Hailey Noel; and his great grandchildren, Ben, Jasper, Ellie and Miles.
He also served on the OEC Foundation Board, and has been a chaplain at Valley View Hospital in Ada, and Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City, as well as a chaplain in the National Guard.
