We bid farewell to Sylvia M Petrey (Norman, Oklahoma), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 1, 2025 at the age of 73. Sylvia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her mother Amanda Palmer; and her brothers, Eddie and Jimmy. She is survived by: her husband Wendell Petrey; her daughters, Tara Carpenter (Tym), Amanda (Jeff) and Samantha (Chris); her siblings, Roger, Mike, Vicky and Belinda; and her grandchildren, Grace, Eli, Sophia and Madi.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Havenbrook Funeral Home (3401 Havenbrook St, Norman, OK 73072). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to Meals on Wheels of Norman.
