He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Orr Daniel and Nellie Irene Daniel (Prewett); his former wife Waltraud Daniel; and his siblings, Sydney, Hubert Jr., Gene and Elizabeth Daniel.

He is survived by: his spouse Val; his children, Juergen Daniel (Rene) of Norman, Janie Daniel of Norman and Lisa Wright of Norman; his grandchildren, Alexandra Daniel, Aaron Daniel, Elizabeth Wright and Emily Aguilar; and his great grandchild Oliver Hansen.
