He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Botts and Lucille Botts (Thomas); his son Darrin Eugene Botts; and his brothers, David Botts and Larry Botts.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Botts (LaDuke); his children, James Timothy Botts (Christi) of Riverton, KS, Debbie Herrel of Miami, OK and Kimberly Ferdig (Rocky) of Miami, OK; and his sisters, Cathy Williams of Miami, OK and Nancy Thompson of Riverton, KS. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the G. A. R. Cemetery (2801 N Main St, Miami, OK 74354).
