She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Weaver and Eva Weaver; her brother Floyd Leon Weaver; and her grandchildren, Daniel and Nikki.

She is survived by: her husband John Yates; her children, Don Forbes (Wendy) and Connie Forbes; and her grandchildren, Amanda, Rachel, Devon and Jeremy. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren; aswell as numerous extended family members and friends.
