He was predeceased by: his parents, William Fredrick and Lola Mae Willis; his brother George Vernon; and his son Stephen. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Turney; his grandchildren, Grace Willis of Fayetteville, Liz Moore (Ben) of Yukon, Jacob Auer (Caroline) of Seattle, Isaac Willis (Morghan) of Tulsa, Henry Auer of Tulsa and Walker Willis of Waco, Texas.; and his great grandchild Oliver Moore of Yukon.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Methodist Church.
