He was predeceased by : his parents, Marion Hamit and Elda Hamit (Elliott); and his nephew Judd Hamit. He is survived by : his wife Barbara of Nowata, OK; his children, Carlie Sturgeon (Brian) and Joshua Hamit (Patricia); his grandchildren, Elliott, Ellie and Penny; his brothers, Dick Hamit (Lila) of Overbrook, KS and Don Hami (Terry) of Stockton, KS; and his cousins, Margaret Elliott, Sue Regier, Nancy Huffman and Kristy Utchell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, dear friends.
