With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ellen Roberta Carpenter of Nowata, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 5, 2025 at the age of 83. As Ellen Roberta departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Ellen Roberta may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Ellen Roberta leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Lowery and Elsie P. Lowery (Hudson) of Nowata; her siblings, Patricia Shatto and Jaylee Lowery; her grandson Devin Sanders; and her close friend J. R. Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Cheryl Hodges of Anchorage, AK, Rodna Fuller of Tulsa and John Carpenter of Tahlequah; her granddaughter Amelia Prince of Broken Arrow; and her great grandchildren, Evalynn Rose Tucker and Ivy Regean Tucker.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Memorial Park Cemetery. A burial will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
