She was predeceased by : her parents, Clifford Taylor and Lucinda Taylor (Spillman); her husband Ernest McBlair; her daughter Kitty McBlair Long; and her siblings, Etta Jesse, Dorothy Pyle and Charlie Taylor.

She is survived by : her children, Bert McBlair, Ernest McBlair III, Jeannie Harvey, Sarah Duckett (Randy), Greer McBlair (Mary) and Daniel Joseph McBlair; and her sister Mary Catherine Allender. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
