He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Posey and Nola Posey (Miller); his sister Betty Smith; his daughter-in-law Sara Posey; and his grandson Ryan Posey.
He is survived by: his wife Frankie Jo; his children, Greg Posey of Ponca City and Mendy; his son-in-law Jesse Garcia of Albany, OR; his son Dr. Matt Posey (Tammy) of Bethel Acres, OK; his grandchildren, Carson (Jake Hammons) of Benton, AR, Philip Garcia of Tulsa, OK, Brittney Quinn of Oilton, Kim Holman of Tulsa, Mike and Brandon Bullington of Ponca City; his great grandchild Rachel (Brandon Thomas) of Ponca City; his grandchildren, Autumn Ryan Posey of Rio Rancho, NM and Ally Posey of Cushing; his great great grandchildren, Emory and Caden; his sister Dianne (Ken Hackl) of Owasso; and his niece Danelia Barnes of Oilton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Walter's memory to Shiloh Ministries Church, the Oilton Historical Society or St. Jude's Children's Medical Center.
