He was predeceased by: his parents, William Geis and Hannah Geis; his siblings, Maxine Fielder-Davis, Katherine Geis and Willis Geis; and his former wife Jane Geis.

He is survived by: his son Kennan Geis; his granddaughters, Crystal, Carrie, Charity and Chloe; and his great grandchildren, Ethan, Alice, James and Amelia.
