She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Smith (Smith) and Eva Smith (Cornell); and her siblings, Shirley Fairres, Clarence "Buzz" Smith, Robert Smith, Larry "Flash" Smith and Gary Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Terry Sands; her children, Jason Thomas (Kimmi) of Cromwell, Toby Thomas of Okemah, Kristin Sands of Okemah, Jennifer Morgan (Tracy) of Arkansas and Stephanie Greninger (Rick) of Arkansas; and her siblings, Dewayne Smith, Jerry Don Smith (Linda), Leon Smith of Okemah, Edna "Wee" Carmen of Okemah, Sue Johnson of Okemah and Saundra Underwood (Frank) of Okemah. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
